Movie Page Standout

     I reviewed Joshua Tolbert’s Pokémon themed web portfolio website and was blown away by his work I found that he is great at coding, because he had very minor errors and beautiful work. I was so excited to critique his work it was a pleasure. Below is the advice I gave him on what I thought he could do to make his website even better than it already was. I hope he put some thought into my opinion of observation. He really did an amazing job which is why my movie page shout is going to him. Congrats to hard work being worth it!

     Wow! Your work here is great. Your colors and theme matches perfectly. Most of your buttons work and connect to everything like it should. Your accessibility and usability page don’t work. Other than that everything is easy to see and read. Your pages are very well organized. I don’t know if you’re aware that you have two show alert buttons and a Pokémon button as well. If you keep the Pokémon button I would suggest you make it even in size with your show alert button and delete a show alert button as well to make your page look even more fabulous! My favorite page is your tool page, because it’s lined up in columns beautifully. I guess the only thing I would fix on this page if possible would be to line the images up better also, if you wanted to you could even make your web portfolio color the same color of blue throughout the whole site other than that you did absolutely wonderful ☺! GREAT JOB!!

Review on my trailer

     Due to my partner not giving me feedback in written form i’m going to write based off of what others said when criticizing my website on Dreamweaver and internet explorer of my movie. I felt like out of everyone’s commentary Ashleigh’s was the most helpful, because she was the most critical and gave me her full opinion on what I should fix very bluntly. I took everyone’s commentary in consideration and fixed what I thought sounded like a good idea to fix. All of the commentary was good and i’m very proud of my classmates work.

     According to all the feedback I had all of my required elements and nothing to fix about them. As far as colors go Ashleigh thinks that my color for my  movie design is blank yet light, and she also says she loves it, because it symbolizes the inner purity within us all. Jess says the colors go well with the genre, and Jareia says that yes my colors match my movie. Then an unknown viewer said that the color goes well with the movie as well. When editing my design I left the color the same, because I felt like it still coordinated well with my theme and really set off the tone of the movie.

     As for my fonts Ashleigh thought my font was slightly boring, but easily can be fixed. Jess said that the font went together with the movie and brought it all together. Jareia said that yes the font is readable, and the unknow viewer said that the text is small, but readable. I myself think that yes my text font seems a little “boring”, but it’s very professional looking. It really just goes well with the whole set-up of the site so I decided not to change anything.

     When it comes to imagery Ashleigh thought that the hand as my graphic could be misinterpreted and that maybe I should chose something more direct, but after explaining the hands symbolic purpose she really liked it and understood. Jess put it plain and simple that my background image went well, because it simply symbolized the movie, and Jareia commented that yes she liked it, because it was nice and it goes good with the movie. In agreeance with the others the unknown view states that the background image matches with the trailer. I didn’t change anything about the image when editing, because I strongly feel that the imagery in my background really just sold the ticket and was great in the the whole symbolic representation of the trailer.

     As for the nice things they had to say about my trailer and page design Ashleigh says that my trailer was very motivational and that the “INSpIRE” tittle of my trailer was very good the way I came up with it. Jess thought I did a good job with incorporating the hand and Jareia said good job with an exclamation mark and that she liked it as well. Not to mention the unknown viewer said that my trailer was great and that he loved the fact that I talked about Zae in my trailer and what he done. Overall I think I did a great job and i’m proud of myself.

Web Hosting Provider Activity

     I went to www.register.com and I came up with the perfect domain name for my business website, www.teafortayah.com which clearly just so happened to be available in the .com version (lucky me). I chose www.teafortayah.com as my domain name for my tea business, because it was like I said before the perfect fit for my company name. I absolutely love tea (if you know me you’d know it’s more of an obsession than love by now..) and so I named my company Tea for Tayah, because I adore tea and it was created to be drunk by me and many others. I also thought having my own tea company would be great I have a few ideas of things I wouldn’t mind designing a brand for and making a real life successful business out of. I’m glad my domain name was unique enough that I didn’t have to go through the long process of searching multiple names before I found one available.

     If I had to decide on a hosting company that best suits my needs as a business owner for my site i’d choose Ipage, because out of my top 3 picks (Ipage, Site Ground, and Green Geeks) Ipage was the the hosting provider that was extremely affordable with a price of only $1.99 a month, had great reviews on their 24/7 reliability and excellent customer service, and not to mention they even give you designing and building tools for your site.

     I went to www.webhostinggeeks.com and read through their list of Top 10 Web Hosting providers and took notes on my top 3 favorites based on what I thought was a good fit for my needs. My Top 3 Web Hosting providers are: Ipage, Site Ground, and Green Geeks in that exact order.

• I chose Ipage as my number one pick, because they are have an affordable pricing of only $1.99 per month and they have great reviews. Their website looks very clean and organized and instantly grabbed my attention. I could coordinate the semblance to being a hosting provider just by looking at the site. You definitely get the most for your buck.

• I chose Site Ground as my second option of a Web Hosting provider, because they were also affordable. They cost more than Ipage, but less than Green Geeks. Their site has a nice set up and allows you to update  your site which is great, because this site for businesses could either be successful or fail so if your company grows so can your site with their help.

• I chose Green Geeks as my final Web Hosting provider, because I really liked how their environmentally responsible for their work. Their reviews were filled with Thank You’s for their on-going customer service for going the extra mile, not to mention they even have a 30 day money back guarantee.

Response & Reflection: Type O Blood

Due to my resent heath obsession with not only eating organic non-GMO foods, but also  incorporating daily exercise routines into my diet  my aunt Debbie sent me an article and what I found out about types and my specific blood type O was amazing.

Wow, that was interesting. Thankyou! I never knew that my blood type had so much to do with my health or the way I act. I’ve had a stomach ulcer before, and it does take me longer to relieve from stress or anger I can literally feel my blood boiling from the adrenaline rising.  I will say that because i’m lactose intolerant that’s true that i’m less into dairy products.  Yes, I also agree that the grains I do eat definitely stick to me and bloat my stomach to the point I look like i’m 9 months pregnant. And if dancing counts as aerobics and boxing workouts then yep, that’s my thing. I also do have terrible allergies and the world’s worst immune system.  I also have massive headaches and heartburn too. That article was extremely helpful I have no idea why my doctors never thought to once explain that maybe any issues I have could be due to the fact that my blood type is O. Thankyou! I love learning about this kind of stuff! How do know so much? It’s awesome.
